Morogo Wa Setswana from Botswana

(Aka Wild Spinach)



Ingredients


•5 Cups of Wild Spinach (Chopped)

•2 chopped onions

•3 chopped tomatoes

•70ml cooking oil

•Salt

•Spices of your choice(optional)

• A dab of cream(optional)


Instructions


•Pour the oil in a heating small medium sized pot on a medium heat

•Once the oil has heated pour in chopped onions along with salt and spices simmer and fry for 15 minutes

•When the Onions turn into golden crisp, add wild spinach, simmer and cook for 1 hour

• After that add tomatoes on top and simmer for 20 minutes for every 5 minutes

• Wait to cool of 5 minutes and enjoy

Ingredients


•1 Cup dry corn

•1 Cup Bambara nuts

•1 Cup Peanuts

•1 Cup Cow Peas


Instructions


•Remove stones and shells out of the grains

•Pour water on a small medium sized pot along with 1 Cup of dry corn. Put on a medium heat

•Boil for 2 hours

•Remove the pot of the stove and husk

•Add peanuts and 3 cups of water

•Simmer till the water becomes dry

•Add Bambara nuts and Cow Peas. Add 3 Cups of water

• Simmer for 3 hours till cooked
